
RIM (Research in Motion) has recently launched their new Blackberry Curve 8530 for Indian users. Blackberry Curve 8530 will be available in India only through Tata Indicom with its CDMA connection for the moment.
BlackBerry Curve 8530 will be India’s first CDMA device with optical trackpad and WiFi on-board. Other key features include the standard full QWERTY keyboard, a 512 MHz next generation processor, 256MB memory, 2 megapixel camera with video, microSD expansion to a maximum of 32GB, Bluetooth with A2DP support, GPS, 3G, and much more.
BlackBerry Curve 8530 also supports for several social networking sites. The IM services include email and Blackberry Messenger. All the Indian users of BlackBerry Curve 8530 will have access to the BlackBerry App World and it will support up to 10 email accounts for the users.
Along with BlackBerry Curve 8530, Tata Indicom has also introduced Tata Photon TV which allows users to access their favorite TV programs while on the move. Tata Photan TV has been started with 50 channels covering News, Movies, Music, Sports, business, finance, fashion, and animation.
Tata Indicom is offering BlackBerry Curve 8530 with Tata Photan TV and the cost of the package is INR 18,990.00 initially. Users can chose from various combination of pre-paid and post-paid tariff plans. Tata Indicom is also offering free data services for two months and free live TV for a period of three months for all the users who buy the Blackberry Curve 8530 before the June 30, 2010.
