It might happen that a family member or an employee set a BIOS password and then forgot what it was, making access to the computer impossible. But removing BIOS password in not impossible. You can remove BIOS password by following below steps:
Step-1: Open your Computer's CPU cabinet.
Step-2: Find the BIOS Cell in the motherboard as shown above.
Step-3: Remove the BIOS Cell for 30 seconds, and then again place it back on motherboard. This will reset the BIOS and also removes the BIOS password.
If you are able to login to your computer and able to bring DOS prompt up, you can reset the BIOS using DOS commands and you will not require to open the CPU cabinet. You just need to run the below DOS commands in the same sequence as given:
DEBUG hit enter
-o 70 2e hit enter
-o 71 ff hit enter
-q hit enter
exit hit enter
After running the above DOS commands, restart your computer. Now the BIOSof your computer will be reset and the BIOS password will be also removed.
