If you need to upload a large files into internet then the best option is to break the files into small parts and then upload it, after downloading one can again join all the parts in a single file.
You can use WinRar application to split a file in multiple parts. You can break all the types of files using this application which can range from Zip Files, Multimedia, Music, Video, Backup Files, Images, Text Files, DVD movies etc and then distribute them anywhere even on the internet because they are going to be small pieces.
Use following steps to split a file using WinRar:
1. Right Click on the file that you want to split, choose the option Add to archive.
2. WinRar automatically assigns a name for the new archive it is going to create. You can also change the default name, if you want.
3. Under the option Split to volumes, choose an appropriate size from the available drop down option. You can also enter the desired maximum size of each file part. I have entered 10mb for each part of file.
4. Click Ok and wait for few seconds. WinRar compress the source file and splits it in to several files.
